He is also a member of the editorial board of Hespéris-Tamuda and former director of the journal La Recherche Historique. He is also the founder of the journal Archives du Maroc and author and co-author of several works and articles on contemporary history and the history of present times Morocco. Since 2011, he has been director of the institution Archives du Maroc. In January 2018, he was nominated by the Directorate General of UNESCO a member of the International Advisory Board of the Memory of the World Program</p>
